Does the Clock app show past alarms?
Clock’s Alarm tab lists your configured alarms. Apple’s alarm guide covers setting and changing them; it does not provide a complete past-alert log. Notification History Archive keeps the Clock notifications your automation captures after setup.
The screenshot shows saved Alarm, Snoozing, and Timer entries. These record captured notifications, not a complete history of every alarm action.
How do I start saving Clock notifications?
- Download Notification History Archive on iOS 27 or later.
- Open Settings → Set Up Shortcuts in the app and install the prepared shortcut.
- Edit its notification trigger in Shortcuts. Add Clock to the selected apps and turn on Automation.
- Complete the app’s capture test, then try a short timer or test alarm. Check for a new Clock entry in the archive.
A successful setup test confirms the app’s test notification was captured. Check a Clock alert too, because it is a different source.
How do I keep an important alarm entry?
Open a captured entry and tap its bookmark to keep it in Saved. Use the Saved filter to find it later. Bookmarked notifications are protected from automatic deletion.
The latest five hours are free to view. Older stored entries require Full History, including bookmarked entries. Full History also includes CSV and JSON export.
Why is an alarm missing from the archive?
Check that Clock is selected and Automation is on. The app only saves what iOS sends to the shortcut; it cannot read an internal Clock database or recover notifications from before setup. A missing entry does not prove the alarm failed to ring. Get capture help.
