Visited Places Beta
A timeline of where you went, when you arrived, and how long you stayed. Visited Places records new visits automatically and puts them on a map you can come back to.
For iPhone · iOS 26 or later

See your visits in order, with arrival times, departure times, and the time spent at each stop.
Records visits from meaningful location changes instead of continuously following every movement.
Stored on your device, with no account, ads, or tracking.
Find a stop on the map, browse the places you return to, or look back through your timeline.
I built Visited Places because I wanted more detail from Apple Maps’ Visited Places: actual visits, in order, with the time spent at each one.
It’s still a beta. Nearby businesses can be hard to tell apart, and visit detection depends on the updates your iPhone provides. I’m working on making it more accurate.

Check the map and timeline as your iPhone delivers new visits.
Your location history stays on your device. You don’t need an account, and the app has no ads or tracking.
Read the privacy policyThis is an independent app. It builds its own history from new location updates after setup; it doesn’t unlock or import Apple’s existing Significant Locations or Visited Places records.
Visit detection depends on iOS and your location settings. Some visits may be delayed or missed, and a suggested place name can be wrong when several businesses are close together.
The app is designed around visit updates and meaningful location changes rather than continuous GPS tracking. Battery use varies with your device, settings, and activity.
I’m still improving detection and place matching. If something looks wrong or a visit is missing, send me feedback with your device and iOS version.
