Setup & troubleshooting

Which location settings do I need?

Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Visited Places. Choose Always, turn on Precise Location, and reopen the app.

When will visits appear?

History begins after installation and location setup. Entries appear as your iPhone delivers visit updates, so a new stop may take time to show up. Earlier Apple Maps or Significant Locations records aren’t imported.

Why is a visit missing or delayed?

Check that Location Services is on, Visited Places has Always access, and Precise Location is enabled. Reopen the app. Visit delivery is controlled by iOS, so timing and coverage can vary. If it keeps happening, send feedback with your iPhone model and iOS version.

Why is the place name wrong?

Several businesses can share a building or sit close to the same coordinates. The beta may match a visit to the wrong point of interest. This is an area I’m actively improving.

How do I manage a subscription?

Use Manage Subscription in the app’s settings, or open your Apple Account’s subscriptions in iPhone Settings. Current purchase options are shown in the app and on its App Store listing. Apple’s standard terms of use apply.

How do I stop recording new visits?

Change or disable Visited Places’ location access in iPhone Settings. This stops new background visits from being recorded.
